The Word is what connects people, races and nations, and language is the formal structure that brings them together and distinguishes them as human beings. Hence, the Word is the chief cultural tool of understanding and expansion. As long as the Word - or dialogue - remains a priority in human relationships to overcome conflicts, violence will be the exception.
The Word Museum is a private, non-profitable Trust, of cultural, non religious and independent nature that wishes to develop accord among people, races and nations through open-minded discussion. The Word Museum will support and widen the spectrum to exchange views among cultures, religions and aesthesia. The existence and outcome of this interaction is, in itself, the Museum’s real master piece.
The Word Museum headquarters, a manor right in the heart of the Quixotic route, will be the hub of its activity. An appealing scenery for everyone to study, exchange ideas and to meet other people.
The Museum will also have its own web site, aiming to stimulate and provide information about all the initiatives taking place, putting forth several sorts of actions so as to achieve the Museum's targets and purposes.
All the above can only become valid with the endeavours of everyone cooperating in this project, at present and in the future, and of the means made available by Mr. César Egido Serrano, the founder and sponsor of our Museum.
